A Country Retreat. Set in a 300 year old converted barn in Blindley Heath, Lingfield, the Red Barn is a stunning country retreat. More than just a congenial local, our wonderful pub and idyllic wedding venue has many areas bursting with character that can be sectioned off for private events. Our expansive barn is perfect for wedding receptions or larger parties; the gorgeous paddock is just the place for summer dining and drinks.

The airy Pantry is a delightful space for smaller wedding occasions, jolly Christmas parties, corporate away days or gastronomic feasts with friends and loved ones. Serving high quality comfort food, The Red Barn offers classic British favorites and wedding packages, with a complex drinks list featuring fine wines and a range of weird and wonderful beers sure to satisfy even the thirstiest of guests.

About The Red Barn

The Barn
Up to 140 seated / 200 standing. This traditional and unique space has areas suitable for dining, dancing and entertainment; a large flexible area with side alcoves for extra seating or children’s play area. Tables can be dressed or we can leave the wooden tops exposed for a more casual rustic look and feel. And how about reception drinks in the Paddock? Our experienced team will help you plan an individual event that reflects you.

The Pantry
Up to 30 seated / 50 standing. Our rather perfect private Pantry leads out to the beautiful garden and is a fantastic setting for more intimate wedding feasts, Christening and anniversary celebrations or a birthday bash that children just love, open all year round. A real home from home – we can create menus to suit any occasion.

The Paddock
Up to 150 seated. Our Paddock is fully equipped with a BBQ, hog roast and outside bar and a great place for arrival drinks and canapés. With all that outside space why not let us arrange corporate entertaining, team building games and fun activities, or how about a good old fashioned barn dance! With gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside, the Paddock is a stunning backdrop for a summer drinks reception and a beautiful spot for your wedding snaps.
